The Problem:

After installing outdoor blinds, our client had hoped their patio would become a comfortable, bug-free space to relax and entertain.

Although outdoor blinds provided sun protection and privacy, they weren’t designed to stop insects. The space became dark when blinds were lowered and airflow was restricted, making it impractical for day-to-day use. The clients wanted an outdoor solution that would actually eliminate bugs without blocking the breeze or the view.

The Solution:

Suncoast Outdoor Living designed and installed a custom outdoor screening system that enclosed the patio without compromising natural light or airflow. The new design allowed our client to retain their existing blinds for sun and weather control, while adding a permanent insect barrier. A screen roof was added to extend the outdoor area beyond the home’s roofline, creating a larger, more functional space.
