Swing Doors

At Suncoast Outdoor Living we understand the need to be able to shift stuff in and out of your outdoor area. That’s why we use a wider than standard self-closing screen door. Our doors are 900mm wide with and overall opening size of 870mm. The doors are constructed onsite using our powder-coated aluminium framing including an extruded door jamb and are finished off with quality Whitco door furniture, including a keyed lock and self-closing unit which minimises the chance of bugs following you inside. There is also no trip point on the ground and the base is finished off with an adjustable bug strip.

Our Screen Selection

What makes Suncoast Outdoor Living Australia’s number one outdoor screening company is not only its unique powder-coated aluminium screen frames but the variety of quality screens we can customise your outdoor area with. Our Australian sun is very harsh and cheap screens just don’t last, becoming brittle at a very rapid rate. All our screens are manufactured by Phifer Screens USA (no screens are produced in Australia) who have been producing screens since 1952 in Tuscaloosa Alabama.

Skylight Strips for Insulated Patios

For those concerned about the loss of light a patio may have on the inside of their house, Ausdeck has developed a skylight strip which runs between the 1000mm wide insulated roofing panels. The skylights are made from an opaque poly carbonate to reduce the heat and are 150mm wide. Can only be used with the ribbed profile roofing and not the corrugated.

Outdoor Heaters

If you are after a good long-term investment in heating, look at installing a good radiant electric heater. The benefits over the traditional outdoor gas options are many, including cheaper running costs. The heat travels through any breeze to hit its intended target and of course not running out of gas. The wiring for these can be pulled through at the time of the patio roof build ready to be hard wired by a licensed electrician. Customers to provide their own external heaters. Please make sure they are compatible with insulated roofing if installing with the roof panel.

Insulated Wall Panels

If you are after a solid wall or part wall in your outdoor area the use of insulated wall panel is not only cost effective but has other benefits like being a great noise barrier, easy to clean and maintain and fits nicely within the Suncoast Outdoor livings aluminium frame system. Insulated walls are essentially the same as the insulated roofing but with the flat ceiling profile on both sides. The walls are available in a variety of colours and are 50mm thick and 1200mm wide. The panels are easily cut if you have a fall in your existing concrete slab.

Sliding Doors

Constructed onsite our sliding doors can be made to fit most openings. We use both top hung sliding system and standard top and bottom roller system. The sliding doors do have a bottom track, but the level of the existing ground can have a bearing on them being a practical access solution. Quality Whitco door furniture is used along with our powder coated aluminium frames.

Pet Doors

At Suncoast Outdoor Living we like to look after your furry friends by constructing them their own entrance. Traditionally pet doors are inserted within the door frame but we have found that by giving your pets their own entrance, not only does it give them independence but eliminates humans and pets using the door at the same time. Framed with our powder coated aluminium, we use the Australian designed and made Petway brand. The Pet doors are available in 3 sizes Small- 240mm x 190mm opening – Suitable for cats and small to medium size dogs; Medium- 305mm x 225mm opening – Suitable for medium size dogs

LED Downlights for Insulated Patios

Our smart Ausdeck dimmable LED downlights are the perfect finishing touch for your new insulated patio. Using a fire resistant enclosure which minimises the ambient operating temperature, the lights can switched between 3 colours, Cool White, Warm White and Neutral White so you can create the ambience you seek. Although the lights are plug and play we recommend getting them hard wired by a qualified electrician.. The Ausdeck downlights come with a 3-year warranty.

Outdoor Fans

Fans are a popular addition with outdoor patios, of course you do need to have the available height to make them a viable accessory. The wiring for these can be pulled through at the time of the patio roof build to then be hardwired by a registered electrician. It is essential that electrical conduit or what they call a non-migrating wire is used when running 240v wires through the insulated panel. As there is such a great variety of fans on the market, we leave the choice up to our customers to purchase prior to installation of their patio. Please make sure that your fan is designed for exterior use which will give you a much better long term investment.
