Despite being designed for lifestyle, the outdoor area became less appealing thanks to insects and birds disrupting the space. The owners also wanted a way for their cats to enjoy the outdoors without wandering the neighbourhood, all without losing the open, breezy feel.

The Solution:

After exploring their options, the homeowners decided that screening the area would provide the best balance of comfort and openness. Suncoast Outdoor Living installed removable screen panels above the gutter to maintain easy access for cleaning, balustrade-compliant screening below, and a self-closing door for convenient stair access. The result is a clean, secure, pet-safe space.
